Why we started Dementia Care Helper
When my mother was diagnosed with dementia, finding the right care for her was one of the hardest things I have done. I spent hours on websites that asked for my phone number, made calls that went nowhere, and struggled to get straight answers about cost and who would take her insurance. The whole process was frustrating at a time when I just wanted her to be safe.
I built this site so other families don't have to go through the same thing. Dementia Care Helper is a free directory of dementia care in Florida: care at home, memory care, adult day programs, respite care, hospice and elder law attorneys. You can search without signing up, and we never ask for your phone number.
What we promise
- Every listing shows its state license status and when we last checked it.
- We show how care can be paid for, including Medicaid and VA benefits.
- We clearly label any paid or featured listing.
- We never sell your information.
We are a directory, not a care provider, and a listing is not an endorsement. Always confirm details with the provider and talk with your parent's doctor.
